Science communication

"Science isn't finished until it's communicated" - Sir Mark Walport

Throughout my experience as a researcher I have had two aims when it comes to science communication:

(1) Encourage the general public to understand the value of research

(2) Make science and academia a more inclusive environment

So far I have been interviewed and quoted by multiple news outlets, assisted with natural history documentaries for Sky Nature and the National Geographic, contributed to a New York Times bestselling popular science book, and mentored numerous enthusiastic students from widening participation background.
